Welbeck Hall is a beautiful Edwardian-period building, built in 1909, overlooking the River Trent and immediately adjacent to the architecturally-striking Suspension Bridge that is one of the famous landmarks of the City of Nottingham. Right opposite Welbeck Hall on the Meadows embankment of the River Trent are the dramatic, recently-restored Memorial Gardens which form the perfect visual backdrop for celebratory photos right through the four seasons.
Over the years, Welbeck Hall has widened its doors to welcome licensed civil wedding ceremonies and bespoke rceptions, celebrations of life, corporate events, charitable fayres and all kinds of celebratory events, from small, intimate “do’s”, right up to larger events for 100 or more guests. Recently , we have relaunched a very popular Sunday Lunch Carvery served in our Riverside Dining Room and adjacent Riverside Terrace.
Walk up the imposing chandeliered staircase and feel the historic atmosphere as you enter the vaulted and impressively high-ceilinged Trent Temple Ceremony Room.
Encompassing traditional Edwardian architecture, the dual-aspect layout beautifully captures the sunshine through the stained-glass windows.
All of this is complemented by imposing oak furniture and an impressive black and white chequered carpet.

The cosy and intimate Bridge Suite Ceremony Room is located just off the bar area on the ground floor with full disabled access and extensive double doors opening out onto its own private terraced area – ideal for photographs and relaxing under the gazebo.

Our large, elegant, period dining room will be dressed with classic white table linen and chair covers with sashes and table runners in your chosen colour scheme from our wide selection.
Accessed via French doors from the Riverside Suite is the generously-sized Riverside Terrace.

The splendid outdoor decked seating area has fantastic riverside views of the stunning Wilford Suspension Bridge, the Victoria Embankment and the iconic Trent Bridge.
Go ahead and take a romantic walk over the Suspension Bridge to the recently furbished and stunning Memorial Gardens right opposite on the other side of the river. The quiet greenness makes the perfect backdrop for gorgeous wedding photos.
